Hot trend: Short Prom Dresses

The other night I attended my younger sister's pre-prom party. Looking at it from an outsider's perspective, the whole night is so crazy, but crazy in an amazing way. For months my sister shopped for the "right" dress, the perfect matching bag, and amazing shoes (but ones she could walk in, of course!). The girls were wearing solid colors such as black, white, and shades of blue. Silks, satin, lace, and even feathers spiced up many of the dresses, but the key this spring seemed to be keeping it short and simple. Almost everyone was wearing a short prom dress, showing off their legs and well-thought-out shoes.
